Transitional Living Program (TLP)
Located in YWCA Hamilton’s MacNab Street branch, TLP provides temporary safe and affordable housing for single women and non-binary individuals experiencing homelessness and gender-based violence. TLP offers a supportive environment for up to one year, supervised 24/7 by a knowledgeable, compassionate, and trauma-informed staff team.
In addition to transitional housing, this program offers residents the opportunity to access wraparound services onsite, including food supports, low barrier and inclusive health care, peer support programming, individualized case management and advocacy, systems navigation support, and a variety of activities and outings.
TLP meets residents where they are, supporting individual journeys from crisis to stability, and homelessness to hope.
