Safety + Support Hub

A place to connect and thrive.

The Safety and Support Hub is a centralized, low-barrier space for women and gender-diverse people affected by Gender-Based and Intimate Partner Violence. Operating out of a central location, it offers coordinated support services including navigation of available services in community, safety planning, mental health support, and employment and training programs.  The Safety + Support Hub works with partners across Hamilton to provide coordinated care.

What makes the Safety + Support Hub different?

It is the first integrated gender-based violence (GBV) support hub in Hamilton. It brings together multiple services in one place to make support easier to access. A supportive staff person helps each individual navigate available programs and services, which are designed to be trauma-informed and culturally safe.
